Pearson Ranch 156-acre Mixed-Use Project Breaks Ground in Northwest Austin
Major development news yesterday with the announcement of the massive Pearson Ranch mixed-use project in Northwest Austin. Inspire Development has broken ground on Pearson Ranch for a 156-acre mixed-use project that will bring retail, hotels, offices space, housing, and parks.
Pearson Ranch is located at the northeast corner of SH 45 N and West Parmer Lane. Per the Community Impact, “Pearson Ranch will feature 2.6 million square feet of Class A office space; 200,000 square feet of retail, restaurant and community spaces; two hotels, thousands of multifamily housing units; and 30 acres of parkland.” With area located west of Cap Metro’s Lakeline station, the site will have access to the MetroRail Red Line. The site is also expected to have parks, public spaces and hike and bike trails.
The new development is 2 miles from Apple’s new $1 bill campus of Parmer Lane and is expected to take 10-15 years to build out, with “an estimated value upwards of $2 billion,” according to the Community Impact.
The Laurie Flood Team will be keeping a close eye on this major development news and its affect to the surrounding Northwest Austin area, which developers are calling Williamson County’s “burgeoning technology corridor.”
