Forest North Estates
Forest North Estates is a neighborhood of approximately 650 single family homes built in the 1970’s along tree-lined streets in the Northwest Austin area. It is surrounded by the City of Austin but the majority of the area lies outside the city limits. Being the first subdivision built in the area, Forest North Estates became the namesake for many local amenities including Forest North Elementary School and Forest North Park and Pool. Because of this many of the smaller surrounding subdivisions including Springswoods and Anderson Mill Village many times are thought of as the Forest North neighborhood.
